This home in The Avenue’s in Tauranga was originally built in 1973 and was in desperate need of a full makeover.

The client wanted to renovate her home from top to bottom, while keeping to a mid-range budget, although still adding some luxury’s like an Hvac system (which keeps every room warm in the winter, and cool in the summer). She also prioritised a gorgeous, open plan kitchen, with lots of hidden storage.

This renovation consisted of an upgrade to the kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet, and repainting the entire interior of the house. We also added double glazed bi-fold windows, and doors in the kitchen and dining rooms. This gave the clients home indoor/outdoor flow onto the front patio which it didn’t have before. We finished off by converting an existing large storage room into a self contained flat, with a separate bathroom and kitchenette for her guests.
